Equine Holiday Accommodation
With more and more people deciding to take their horse and ponies on holiday we have teamed up with two local accommodation providers to offer B&B for your equine friends.
Our farm is situated on the western edge of the Lake District National park and is an ideal base from which to explore the quieter and lesser known countryside of West Cumbria. There are several rides, from around a couple of hours to a full day, which can be ridden directly from the farm, or you can take your horse box and go further afield. Help with route planning is offered, or if you wish we can provide a guide to ride with you If you fancy a bit of schooling while you are here, we have a small all-weather arena and a selection of jumps which can be hired at £5 per session.
For those of you bringing other family members who may not be
as “horsey as you are, don't worry! There are several interesting
visitor attractions within easy reach. The area offers lovely
walks and cycle rides, including Mountain biking for the more
adventurous. Fly-fishing is available within a 10 minute walk
of the farm, and for those who enjoy nature and bird watching,
there is plenty to see in the forest around Cogra Moss.
