TOWNEND PRINCESS II

Sire: Townend Royal, Dam: Waverhead Princess
f foaled 1973, died 1999.

Princess was the Fell Pony who started it all, she lived up to the saying "you can't put a Fell Pony to the wrong job". She did almost everything, was schoolmistress to the nervous, gave an experienced rider a good fast ride or an excellent days hunting, she was driven for pleasure; she won rosettes in both private and combined driving events. She had an excellent temperament, a sense of humour and did not suffer fools gladly. Her only daughter, Kerbeck Night Mystery, remains in ownership of the stud.

Mystery, now aged 23 yrs continues to be worked, enjoying her hacks out very much. Her great-granddaughter Kerbeck Night Duchess is now one of our Brood mares, continuing the “Princess” line.
